The Downtown Bryan Association is gearing up for the ninth annual Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival in Historic Downtown Bryan, Texas. This year’s festival, to be held Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, 2015 will attract visitors from across the state of Texas and feature over 20 Texas wineries, numerous craft beer breweries, more than 30 bands performing on five different stages, talented artists from across the country, the annual steak cook-off, the popular Kids Zone, and a variety of food vendors. And thanks to a partnership with Bryan’s own J. Cody’s Steaks and Barbecue, the beef will be back in a big way at the 2015 Texas Reds Festival.
Bryan Mayor Jason Bienski states, “The Texas Reds Festival is very important to the continued growth of our Downtown Bryan community and has a significant economic impact in terms of tourism to our city. Festival attendance last year was comprised of visitors from more than 80 different Texas counties and 14 states from California to New York. We expect this year’s festival to be even bigger and better, and we look forward to showcasing our beautiful historic downtown during this truly unique festival.”
Sandy Farris, executive director of the Downtown Bryan Association, forecasts, “This year’s festival will be an exciting one. Last year was the Downtown Bryan Association’s first year to manage the festival. We spent a lot of time surveying festival attendees both at the event and post event. We learned a great deal from that feedback and will be implementing a lot of the recommendations communicated to us. Of course, we’re most excited about bringing back the popular steak dinner to the festival on Saturday night and grateful to be working with our friends at J. Cody’s.”
Admission to the festival is free. Tickets must be purchased for Wine Tastings, Beer Tastings, the Saturday Night Steak Dinner and Kids Zone participation. All tickets will go on sale on August 1. Tickets will also be available at the festival. However, the prices are lower for tickets purchased in advance.
