FAQs

Q: Do I need a ticket to get in the festival? No, the festival is free to the public. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the musics, the artisans and food vendors booths at no charge. However, tickets will need to be purchased in order to participate in the Texas Wine tasting, Craft Beer tasting, Thursday night farm-to-table dinner at Messina Hof, Friday night VIP Kick-off Party, Saturday night steak dinner, Sunday steak and egg brunch and the kid zone.  

Q: Can I buy tickets the day of or only online beforehand? Tickets can be bought both online or the day of the festival. However, some events have limited tickets such as the special event dinners so advance purchase is recommended.

Q: If I ordered tickets online, what do I bring to the festival to pick up my tickets? If your tickets were ordered before September 9, you will have the options of having your tickets mailed to you, so you won't have to wait in line at the festival to pick them up. However, if you order after September 9 or wish to pick them up at the festival, you will need to bring a valid ID as well as proof of your ticket purchase.

Q: Is there a benefit to buying tickets sooner than later? YES! If you purchase tickets before September 9, you have the option of having your tickets mailed to you, which means no waiting in lines once you get to the festival! Once you arrive, all you will need to do is to get your age-verified wristband and you can enjoy the festival! Also, the earlier you purchase, the more you save! If you purchase before August 20, you can save 20% off all tickets purchases using the code 20UNTIL20


Q: What are the hours for the festival?
Friday, September 23: 8 p.m.
Saturday, September 24: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. (All tents and vendors will close at 8 p.m. The south stage and surrounding food vendors will be open through the final concert and closing around 10 p.m.)
Sunday, September 25: 12 - 5 p.m.

Q: Will any refunds be offered for ticket purchases? There will be no refunds for ticket purchases. However, you may transfer your tickets to a different holder through our ticketing software.

Q: Is the festival held rain or shine? Texas Reds Festival is a rain or shine festival. However, in the event of severe weather, the festival works closely with a team of highly trained emergency personnel and will make a call as to whether to continue the festival because patron safety is always priority one.

Q: How can I drink wine or beer? There are two ways to drink wine or beer at the festival.

Option 1: If you would like to participate in the Texas Wine or Craft Beer tasting tent, you MUST purchase a full tasting package with glassware. Without the current festival glassware, you will not be allowed to sample or purchase a glass of wine/beer under the tent. Additional tasting tickets may be purchased for additional samples or glass of wine/beer.

Option 2: Purchase wine/beer tickets only and you may consume any alcohol sold at our bars located throughout the festival which include wine slushes, our custom blended festival wine or domestic and craft beer.
